Anglican cartoonist extraordinate Dave Walker sums up the so-called "covenant" that English evangelicals threw in Archbishop Williams' lap this week.
Now, go read his commentary too. Folks need to understand that even the folks in England are getting very weary of these shenanigans.

Where is the evidence that homosexuality has the same healthy characteristics as heterosexuality? There's a mountain of evidence on the other side. For instance, you can find articles in medical journals that say that the lifespan of gays is the same as it was for the general population 145 years ago; that the rates of anal cancer are 40 times higher, that the rates of hepatitis are many times higher, and on and on and on. Can you find evidence pointing to the opposite conclusion? No! The evidence is the same on the emotional side. A truly faithful gay couple hardly exists, even in places like Holland, where it has full social acceptance. Come on now. Let's see evidence for a change -- not mere prejudice in favor of letting people do what they feel like doing.
