The deputies to General Convention, leadership, and bishop of the Diocese of Utah have written a paper in response to the Primates' Communiqué and the Draft of the Covenant Design Group. Their public notice says they "seek to reframe consideration of the issues before the Communion."

According to the diocesan announcement, Bishop Carolyn Tanner Irish will take the statement to the House of Bishops' upcoming meeting later this week in Texas. The framers of the statement note they offer it to the wider Church "with our hopes it may be prayerfully considered. We welcome your responses."
